Easy Board and Batten DIY under $30

I am so excited about this project Aaron and I have been working on recently for our baby boy’s nursery! As many of you know, our entire home is being remodeled right now, so we’re trying to to save money where we can. We wanted to add a little texture to this wall without spending too much money and decided to go with a DIY board and batten! Valentine’s Charcuterie Board

Whether you’re celebrating Galentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or having an at-home family gathering, a pretty charcuterie board is always a good idea! Keep scrolling for some beautiful charcuterie board inspiration you can easily put together for any Valentine’s Day occasion this year.  I used a very large old board because I love the look of old wood. I added some of our favorite goodies on it, including cheese, fruit, preserves, honey, olives, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels and of course mini cupcakes. A mixture of pretty much anything you can think of is appropriate! I even shaped the goat cheese into a heart for an extra little detail. I dressed up the board by adding…

Self LOVE!! Items I use to show myself a little extra love!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!  Doing simple things and using good products can really help the way we view ourselves. Like a new candle or high-quality skincare. Taking the time to use salt scrub and shave our legs can make us feel refreshed and nourished. Also, a soothing face mask or a bubble bath can really help us relax and feel more at peace. Valentine’s Tablescape

February, also known as the LOVE month, is finally here! One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day is creating a beautiful tablescape to go along with the holiday! It’s so fun to put together little details for your family and guests to enjoy.  I started with a runner. I used about 4.5 yards of pink chiffon that I bought from a fabric store. I’m a fan of using fabric or chiffon as a runner because so many “typical table runners” are too short. I love how this one drapes over to the floor making it a bit more dramatic and flowy! I added large glass vases (already had the vases)  of roses and floating rose candles.…
