August is here! July flew by, honestly. July was the first month of Classic having a larger booth, and my goodness – it kept me busy!??♀️ We were bringing large loads of merchandise nearly every single day during the month of July. We had a fabulous baby shower for my big sis, Kayla! She is expecting a baby girl, Emersyn Kay, in October!?? Kayla and her husband have seen twenty-five countries during their 20 something years on this earth. ? Since they’re jet setters, we did an “adventure” themed baby shower. 5 Random Facts About the Chicken Coop ?
Well, we finished building our chicken coop! Finally. We began this project on Memorial Day. It took us a little while to build it because: A- I was being picky. (Imagine that!?) B- We were building it between our many jobs. (We take our hustle seriously.?) Regardless, I’m beyond excited to have it finished. We plan on getting the chickens within a few weeks. Well, my title says it all – The Blog Went Down. I’m sure some of you noticed!! ? I was in the midst of soaking up the weekend when Aaron (my husband) got an alert text from his system monitors that my blog was no longer working. (I’m sure the alert sounded much more technical..) Barn Door Bliss
Last weekend we had a homeowner catastrophe. ? It happens to every homeowner, right? Especially those with nearly 100 year old homes! Saturday – We spent nearly the entire day working on Classic Cottage. Our plan was to work my vintage mini shop on Saturday then continue building the chicken coop on Sunday. The fireplace mantel is one space I love to swap up with each season – Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. It was time to add a little something for Summer. A Day of Success
Saturday was a true day of success in Classic Cottage. As I’ve previously mentioned, I began my vintage booth in June of 2016. Classic Cottage Expansion
This weekend I expanded my vintage booth! After a month of prepping and talking it over, we finally expanded to a larger space. It took nearly the entire weekend to get the details worked out. Shout out to my amazing sweet handsome husband for designing a great space with all of my favorite colors – wood, white and black. ?
