    Kitchen Backsplash

Today was a big day! Our backsplash was installed in the kitchen. I’ve been dreaming of this for awhile now. I wanted a slab of quartz to climb the wall from counters to the tongue and groove on our ceiling. For some reason I had a hard time envisioning tile or wood for a backsplash behind the range. I told Aaron, “I just picture a big ol’ slab of something..” So we decided to ask the company who installed our counters about it! This is quartz. It’s the exact same as what we have on our countertops. I originally wanted marble in the kitchen but we were advised countless times…

I created this cozy space with items I already had laying around. You can make  a nice space with truly little to no effort at all.  I had the perfect little vintage desk in another room of our home. I brought it down to this space and the chippy white paint adds perfect character to this space. Whoever says “chippy white” is out of style, I disagree… It’s a…

    Vintage Clowns

Many of you already know the back story regarding me and  vintage clown decor for Halloween. However, for those of you who don’t, I want to share! I’ve been around antiques my entire life, and I’ve always thought old clowns were a bit creepy! A few months ago, I was walking around an antique mall when these vintage clowns jumped out at me! DIY Pumpkin Garland

What you’ll need: (All of it’s linked!) Pumpkins Craft Twine  Sharpie (Optional) I wanted to add a little pumpkin garland to our fall mantel! I love all the festive things so why not add a few more pumpkins to the living room. With our mantel being black I decided to sharpie in a little black to these pumpkins but that’s totally optional. All I did was wrap the craft twine around base of the pumpkin stem. The stem on these pumpkins sorta lift up so it worked out perfectly.
