Skeleton Candy Buffett

Happy (almost) Halloween, it’s time for a candy and popcorn feast – no trick or treating required! I wanted to have some fun with food and decided to go with a spooky, tasty skeleton theme with a variety of different snacks.

I bought this Skeleton from Walmart for under $10. I knew right when I saw it what I wanted to do. I filled it with candy and popcorn because I wanted a good mix of sweet and salty! I tried to use lots of red candy for the insides to portray a creepy look along with gummy worms and gummy frogs for a spooky vibe. Everyone loves popcorn and one bag can go a long way, so I used some popcorn on the bottom. I even popped one of the skeleton legs on the popcorn for a little dramatic look. If you decide to do this yourself, I recommend using wax paper underneath the skeleton to help with the mess.

Wouldn’t this be a great alternative to trick or treating? Or just a fun date night with your boo? If you have older kids or grandkids this would be fun to do as a family game night, too! So many options.
