Rice Krispie Treats with Peeps Recipe

Time to be festive again! I love being festive and celebrating a holiday with food. Especially an EASY recipe! This recipe is so simple you could make it in a few minute. Even the kids could “help!” Perfect for an Easter weekend snack or breakfast on Easter morning!

What You’ll Need:

2 packs of Peeps (30 peeps total)

1/2 stick Butter

6 cups of Rice Krispies

Nonstick Spray

What You’ll Do:

This recipe is so so easy!

First step is Measure 6 cups of Rice Krispies and put them in a large bowl.

Spray with a nonstick spray the dish and mixing spoon you plan to use.  The dish I used for this is a 9×4 glass baking dish.

Next melt the Peeps and butter. So I did this in the microwave but you could totally use the stovetop! I just stirred the Peeps and butter about every 30 seconds. You want these to be completely melted.

QUICK – Add the Peeps butter combo to the Rice Krispies. With your sprayed spoon fold everything in and then pour it into the dish.

At this point I spray my hands with nonstick cooking spray and gently press the mixture down.

Leave out for about 45 minutes to an hour.

At this point you could slice the treats but I actually used a bunny cookie cutter!

This is a fun east way to make treats! Hope you enjoy this recipe this Spring!
