A lonesome item might look out of place until it’s grouped with others. For example, one or even two old ironstone plates would look odd on a shelf but collect a stack of ironstone and you’ve suddenly got a statement in your decor. Not to mention they’re fun to collect so this gives you an excuse to keep collecting! Who knew old white plates stacked high could look so lovely? Yep, they suddenly look like a classic while stating this is functioning home where many gather.

White ironstone is my favorite! I love stacking dishes and wooden cutting boards! You always write the best blog posts!

Love this post. Ironstone makes my mouth water. I’m a collector. Small scale since things are really hard to come by in my small Wyoming town. I usually do my junkin. Antiquing goodwilling out of town. Which means two hours from me in any direction. So when I find treasures …… it’s a HUGE score for me! Lol!!! I do love all of your treasures!
