Creative DIY: How to Make Stunning Flowers Out of Pavers

Are you looking for a unique way to spruce up your garden or outdoor space? Look no further than crafting beautiful flowers out of pavers! This creative DIY project adds a pop of color and whimsy to any garden, patio, or walkway. Plus, it’s a fun and rewarding activity that lets you unleash your creativity. Here’s how to make a flowers out of pavers! AKA – a flower path!

Start by selecting pavers in different shapes, sizes, and colors. You can find a variety of pavers at your local home improvement store or landscaping center. Opt for different shades of the same color for a cohesive look, or mix and match colors for a vibrant, eclectic feel. I’ve made flowers out of pavers twice. The first time I used round pavers as the center with long angled pavers as the petals. The second time I used flagstone pavers for a more abstract look. One flagstone paver in the center with 5-6 surrounding it as the petals.

Start by making sure the ground is flat! I also added a border since I knew I would be adding mulch around the area. Now it’s time to assemble your paver flowers! Start by laying out your chosen pavers in the desired flower shape on a flat surface. Experiment with different combinations until you find a design you love. Once you’re happy with the arrangement, decide if you want to paint them or not! I painted mine for a more whimsy look! Then I added mulch or pea gravel! I’ve used both and love them equally!

Once your paver flowers are in place, step back and admire your handiwork! You can add some finishing touches by planting colorful flowers or greenery around the base of the paver flowers to complement their beauty. Don’t forget to water and care for your new garden additions to keep them looking fresh and vibrant. They’re sure to put a smile on your face each time you pass them!
